Russia to Show Its First Attack UAV at International Army Games-2016

Russia will show its first attack unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) at the International Army Games-2016, scheduled on September 6-11 near Moscow, the Russian state-funded news agency TASS has reported, citing a source in the Russian Ministry of Defense.

There are no official information about the model of UAV, but experts believe that the source means the system called “Zarnitsa.” It could fly at the speed of up to 800km/h. The payload of the system is about 250 kilograms.

Last Decemeber there were reports that the tests of a Russian attack UAV were to be completed soon.

It is good that Russia is finally trying to catch up to Iran in their advanced field.
