Russia has tested Isnakder-M mobile short-range ballistic missile systems, Tornado-G multiple launch rocket systems, Smerch multiple launch rocket systems and other weapons in Syria, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Yury Borisov said on December 17.
He also recalled that Pantsir-S self-propelled, medium-range surface-to-air missile systems had shown a high level of effectiveness destroying multiple UAVs.
Borisov added that modern aviation systems had also achieved a success refering to Tu-160 heavy strategic bombers, Tu-95MS strategic bomber, Tu-22M3 long-range bombers, MiG-29K carrier-based multirole fighters, Ka-52K attack helictopers as well as Su-30SM and Su-35 fighter jets.
