Russia Begins Delivery Of S-400 Air Defense Systems To China – Report

On January 18, an unnamed source close to the Russian system of military cooperation told the Russian news agency TASS that Russia delivered several elements of the S-400 Triumf air defense missile systems to China. A control station, a radar station, energy and support equipment and spare parts were among the elements that was shipped to the country, according to the source.

“The implementation of the contract has begun, the first shipment has been sent to China,” the source told TASS.

China became the first foreign country to purchase the Russian advance long-range air defense system when the deal was signed in 2014. Several experts described the deal as a “game changer” in eastern Asia, as the range of the S-400 Triumf could reach warplanes over Taiwan Island and the disputed areas in the South China Sea.

Six S-400 Triumf long-range air defense systems will be delivered to China under the 2014 deal. However, its unknown if the Chinese S-400 will be armed with the advanced 40N6 missile that has a range of 400km or the downgraded 48N6DM/48N6E3 missiles that have a range of 250km.

The source revealed to TASS that the contact with China does not include technology transfer or licensed production. This could mean that China will receive an advanced but “locked” version of the S-400 Triumf system.

In September 2017, Turkey become the second foreign country to buy the S-400 Triumf system. Other countries including India, Algeria and Saudi Arabia have already stressed its interest in the advanced Russian air defense system or even started negotiating to purchase it.

This is chilling. Was it hastened or it’s according to the schedule?

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

You would be looking at it on schedule but the US timing is rather obvious in trying to cause a scare of the red menace ,lol.

They hold a meeting of countries that haven’t had any contact in the region for 60+ years , this is very telling who has really been unwilling to leave the region and sign a peace treaty in the region.

as

The meeting in Vancouver designed to Insult the North Korea and rekindle the memory of the Korean war. Ask South Korean if the US actually helpful one of these days.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

I know what that meeting is meant to be , but at the same time it will have the adverse side effects. Think the US should have read the label on the bottle before swallowing the pills , reads: please don’t operate any apparatus as it causes memory lapses and nausea and don’t mix with any swamp juices as the side effects can heighten the effects.

Everybody’s preparing for WW3.
I suggest for the historic purposes call it “shithole winter” world war.

WW1 started in Sarajevo, WW2 in Gliwice, cold war in Cuba and WW3 will start probably by “shithole” GOP shutdown in Washington and winter Olympics in PyeongChang.

And of course it will lead to “shithole” nuclear winter in all the world.

Michał Hunicz

To be fair, I think WW2 started in Versailles.

As planned by the Rothschild’s and their coterie of European Bankers.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

To be honest and retrospective it started when the treaty was signed after the first world war, as it had no intention of making an amicable peace.

Rex drabble

I like the word shithole too.I prefer to see these purchases as an effort to stop WW3 though.

Valery Grigoryev

The cold war actually started just after the WW2. And hope that the second cold war, started in 2012, will not lead to the WW3.

FlorianGeyer

It would be charitable to lend a few S400 systems to North Korea as well :)

The Latin Mass

Trump wants to turn all of North Korea into a dead zone, possibly with a false flag nuke attack on a city in the states. Putin has an S-400 battery near North Korea. Putin better shoot down any ICBMs from the Trump regime to save what we now know as the Korean Peninsula. The Americans selected someone that belongs in an insane asylum as dictator in chief.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

That would be impossible to do as the fallout would destroy populations all around that region and would precipitate a world health crisis. When referencing the US has chosen someone more aptly who belongs in an insane asylum as the dictator in chief, the choice was limited because the people limited their choices to 2 people, when they had 5 candidates. The blame lays on thinking a two party state is the best which apparently it’s not.

Valery Grigoryev

Always wonder why some people love dictatorship…

You can call me Al

What exactly is the US then – ??

Valery Grigoryev

The oldest democracy in the whole world.

Satire and sarcasm with a bit of insanity – I do like that. Nice one.

Made me chuckle.

Valery Grigoryev

:-)

FlorianGeyer

For many it is the drug of ‘belonging’. All political and ideological cults attract such people who are largely bereft of any independent thought.

Those that do have independent thought have always been pilloried throughout time.

You can call me Al

Absolutely agree.

FlorianGeyer

It would also be a perfect asymmetric response to the US arming the Ukraine as well :)
