On December 24, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Ten of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Another video shows a rocket attack carried out with a BM-21 Grad multiple launcher that targeted Ukrainian positions somewhere in the direction of Sumy.
Two more videos show recent airstrikes that targeted positions of Kiev forces in the city of Krasny Liman in the Donetsk direction, and in the settlement of Vilcha in the direction of Kharkiv. UMPK-equipped FAB-500 guided glide bombs were used.
In its daily briefing, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “defence industry enterprises, fuel, power, and transport infrastructure objects, used by the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine), as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 147 areas” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses shot down nine guided aerial bombs, two HIMARS projectiles, and 335 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 669 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 104,481 drones, 640 air defense systems, 26,696 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,634 multiple rocket launchers, 32,122 artillery pieces, and 49,878 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
