On September 1, a Polish Mi-24 military helicopter violated the Belarusian border in the Berestovitsky district of the Grodno region, the Border committee of Belarus reported. The claims were supported by the video.

The Polish Mi-24 military helicopter crossed the state border at extremely low altitude, flew to a depth of 1200 meters into the territory of Belarus, and then returned back.

“The Polish side is required to provide appropriate explanations and conduct a thorough investigation of the incident. The results of the investigation and the causes of the incident should be notified to the Belarusian side within a reasonable time, as it is customary in international communication”, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry commented on the incident.

In response to the provocation, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry summoned the Charge d’affaires of Poland, calling the violation of the state border unacceptable.

In early August, the Polish Foreign Ministry claimed that two Belarusian helicopters violated the country’s airspace near the village of Bialowieza located between the Belarusian Brest and the Polish Bialystok. The Ministry also summoned the Ambassador of Belarus, calling the incident “another element of the escalation of tension.”

In its turn, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus stated that there was no violation of Polish airspace and Warsaw was urged “not to escalate the situation.”

The situation remains tense between Minsk and Warsaw. Poland and the Baltic states recently demanded the withdrawal of the fighters of the Wagner PMC from Belarus. Lukashenko responded, claiming that until foreign servicemen are deployed on the territory of Poland and the Baltic States, the Wagner PMC will not leave the territory of Belarus. the usa likes to provoke a violent response for it’s news media to create a cause for war…first poland and then who next in the psychological and material groundwork to weaken and delay the inevitable use of nukes which they must plan.

honestly, if a polish helicopter enters belarusian airspace again, just shoot it down. if the wreckage lands inside belarus, it is hard to say you didn’t cross the line. as poland denies it has done so the aircraft is unidentified and presumed hostile.

poland has placed itself between a “rock and a hard place as a “puppet” of ukraine and the west.

Truthseeker

but that is the justification poland is seeking to join the war in ukraine officially instead of just “advisors” and mercenaries.

Huckelberry finn

that’s exactly the cassus belli they’re hoping for, poland is part of nato remember. let nato keep wasting billions in ukraine and deplete its arsenal, france losing its grip on africa, they’re like hemophiliacs slowly bleeding themselves to death…

Wayne Gabler

the proper response would have been to flatten the base it flew from before the chopper got back to it. just sayin . . .
