The Syrian National Defense Forces (NDF) have released fresh photos showing its members near the town of al-Sukhna located at the Palmyra-Deir Ezzor highway. The town was a target of multiple ISIS attacks in late September and early October. However, now, all they are repelled.

indeed…..luck of training ,and equipment…..they are just reserve forces for secondary jobs….not for fighting.they dont even have uniforms!!!but given the state SYria was 2 years ago its a miracle it has even these.

Thing is though, it’s all about priorities. Spend another month securing this road by taking the desert = plenty of time for the US and their Kurdish lapdogs to take and secure the Omar oilfields. Go after the Omar oilfields before the Kurds can get them = running risk of yet another ISIS attack on this road.
