Photos of alleged Russian artillery units have appeared online at the Russian military forum Lostarmour.info. The photos were allegedly made in the eastern Hama countryside where Russian military servicemen were supporting the repeated government attampts to advance on the ISIS-held town of Uqayribat.
These look powerful pieces. I am sure someone here can tell me what they
are, their caliber and range.

These monster cannons can reach Raqqa itself from where they are positioned…:)
In my opinion the presence of these high caliber cannons is just field practice for Russian artillery units; why waste the ammunition after all, when there are plenty real targets in the western Hama mountains. Otherwise I am pretty sure they are an overkill for whatever assets ISIS may have in western Hama hilly terrain. By far the most suitable artillery piece to destroy hardened enemy position in the hills/mountains are the TOS thermo baric missiles.
Does my barrel look big in this?
