ISIS-linked social media accounts have released a series of photos from the al-Bab countryside, showing a hit of Turkey’s main battle tank with a guided anti-tank missile. According to pro-ISIS sources, the terrorist’s group fighters destroyed the tank belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces.
On Sunday, the Turksish Armed Forces and pro-Ankara militants reached the outskirts of Syrian town of al-Bab controlled by ISIS. They announced that the storm of the town would be launched in any time.
Al-Bab is a key logistical hub, located in the province of Aleppo. If the Ankara-led forces set a full control of it, they will be able to prevent the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) from linking up the Kurdish-controlled areas in northern Syria.
