On September 25, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Nine videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, Lancet loitering munitions and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
One of these videos shows a Lancet strike on a Soviet-made 36D6 long-range air surveillance radar somewhere between the directions Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk.
An additional video shows a strike with an Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile on a United States-made MIM-104 Patriot long-range air defense system deployed between the settlements of Anno-Zachatovka and Svetlogorskoye in Dnepropetrovsk. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the strike destroyed the system’s AN/MPQ-65 fire control radar, in addition to a launcher and a control vehicle.
Another video shows a combined strike with an Iskander-M missile and multiple Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones that targeted a large training camp of Kiev forces near the settlement of Honcharivskyi in the Chernihiv direction.
Two more videos show strikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bomb, including a massive FAB-3000, that hit Ukrainian positions in the settlement of Konstantinovka in the direction of Donetsk and near the settlement of Gavrilovka in Dnepropetrovsk.
In addition, the Russian MoD said in its daily briefing that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “storage and launch sites of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles as well as temporary deployment areas of the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas” over the past 24 hours.
It also reported the destruction of three Ukrainian boats and 15 uncrewed surface vehicles in the Black Sea by the Russian Navy, and the interception of three guided aerial bombs and 178 fixed-wing drones by Russian air defenses during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 86,623 drones, 631 air defense systems, 25,246 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,592 multiple rocket launchers, 29,921 artillery pieces, and 42,602 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
