On December 13th, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched another massive attack on the rear infrastructure throughout Ukraine. Russian devastating strikes are launched in response to the recent strikes of ATACMS missiles on the military airfield in Taganrog. LINK

According to Zelensky, this was another one of hte most massive attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. The Air Forces of Ukraine reported another victory. Ukrainian air defense allegedly intercepted 81 out of 94 Russian missiles but only 80 out of 193 UAVs. 11 targets were reportedly destroyed by F-16 fighters earlier supplied by NATO.

The Russian Ministry of Defense released the following report:

On December 11, 2024, six USmade ATACMS tactical missiles were launched from the territory of Ukraine at a military airfield near the city of Taganrog. In response to the use of American long-range weapons, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched massive strikes with high-precision longrange air and seabased weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles on critically important objects of the fuel and energy infrastructure of Ukraine, which are ensuring the operation of the militaryindustrial complex. The goal of the attack has been achieved. All targets were affected.

There were several waves of massive strikes. The attack began at night, when dozens of kamikaze drones entered the airspace of Ukraine. There were numerous strikes but the main goal of the drone launches was to reveal the deployment positions of air defense systems and overload Ukrainian air defense. In the morning, Russian missiles entered battle. According to Ukrainian reports, the Russian military launched Iskander, Kalibr and Kh-101/555, 22, 59/69 missiles launched by strategic aircraft and ships of the Black Sea Fleet.

Russian strikes were recorded throughout Ukraine, including in the Kiev, Odessa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnitsk, Vinnitsa, Poltava, Zaporozhie, Lviv, Cherkassy, Kharkiv, Dnepropetrovsk regions. The targets included energy stations, military airfields and other military infrastructure. The results of the attack are yet to be revealed.

According to Ukrainian media, the Western regions suffered the heaviest damage. Amid the massive strikes, Polish aircraft took off  and air defense forces were put on alert.

Foreign reports claimed that several Russian Kinzhal missiles destroyed a target in the Carpathian Mountains. One of the strikes was reported near the village of Slavskoe in the Lviv region. There is an important railway that links Ukraine with the European countries.

The US Ambassador to Ukraine confirmed that Russian missiles attacked certain “transport facilities”, which indirectly confirms the destruction of an important logistics hub, which was used by the Americans as well, probably in Western Ukraine.

Explosions also thundered near Stryi in the Lviv region, where the large gas storage facility is located.

Targets of Russian strikes in the Ivano-Frankivsk region included the local Burshtin TPP and Kolomya airfield.

Facilities of the Kanev HPP in the Cherkassy region were damaged.

Explosions thundered in the area of the Limansky airfield and in the port of Odessa.

The notorious Starokonstantinov airfield also reportedly came under another attack.

A series of drone and missile strikes were reported in the city of Kharkiv and its outskirts, where hideout of the Ukrainian military were destroyed.

More targets are likely to be soon revealed.

As a result of the attack, almost half of the country was reportedly cut off from electricity supplies. Large energy generating and distribution facilities were damaged or destroyed in a number of regions.

The puppet Kiev is paying a high price for following the orders of Western warmongers and continuing its strikes on the Russian territory with NATO missiles.

what was heard was 266 of 300 of russ missiles were destroyed by air defence and supported by f16 aircraft. so ukr successfully defended the country and only a few missiles found target. that is quite poor result means it is only 11 percent missole got through.
