On May 18, thousands of Palestinians protested near the separation fence between Israel and the Gaza Strip in what was called “the Friday of loyalty to the martyrs and the wounded,” according to the Lebanese al-Mayadeen TV.

Palestinian sources said that smaller protests against the Israeli authorities were held in the city of Jerusalem, the Western Bank and even in the northern city of Haifa.

As usual, the Israeli Army responded to protestors along the separation fence by targeting them with tear gas and rubber bullets. Israeli army snipers also fired at several Palestinian protestors, according to Palestinian activists.

Ashraf al-Qudra, spokesman for the Palestinian Health Ministry, announced that 56 protestors had been injured by sniper fire or tear gas during the protests in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Mayadeen reported that Ismail Haniyeh, a political leader of the Palestinian Hamas Movement, participated in the protests near the separation fence and encouraged the protestors to continue their struggle.

“The Blood here hampered Trump’s announcement of “the deal of the century” during the transfer of the [US] embassy to Jerusalem,” Haniyeh told the crowd of protestors, according to al-Mayadeen.

Last week, 61 protestors were killed and more than 3,000 others were injured during the protests of “al-Nakba Day” in the Gaza Strip. Observers believe that the protests will continue over the upcoming weeks, even if in a smaller scale.

Quote: “On May 18, thousands of Palestinians protested near the separation fence between Israel and the Gaza Strip..” False! The Zionist tyranny fence is situated well over 2km inside the Gaza strip. It is the Palestinians of Gaza’s own land.

Don’t you realize by now?…………..ZOG is always right.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Also SF deliberately fails to mention that this (like every Arab protest) is not a protest as western countries would think of it. It revolves around symbolically fighting the enemy by throwing stones and firebombs and is often used as a guise for insurgent activity.

Joe Dirt

I guess IDF weren’t able to identify any Hamas terrorist to kill, to bad.
