Russian assault units have consolidated their positions in Maslyakovka, which is located southeast of Lyman. The Russian army is attacking Sviato-Pokrovske in an attempt to cut off the supply line to Siversk. Florian Philippot, leader of the French «Patriots» party, called for an immediate end to French aid to Ukraine.
Izyum Sector
Units of the «West» group of forces continue their offensive operations towards Borova. Previously, Ukrainian forces attempted to disrupt the logistics of the bridgehead in the Kupyansk area, on the left bank of the Oskol River via Borova, as well as to dislodge Russian units from Zagryzovo, Kruglyakovka, and Kolesnikovka. However, the positions were held, and the advance continued in this sector.
After capturing Borovskaya Andreevka and consolidating their position in the southeastern part of Boguslavka, the units expanded the breakthrough to the second defensive line close to Borova. Several airstrikes were launched against the first, inner line beyond the Limanskaya Balka on the immediate outskirts of the settlement. As a result, one strong point was taken under control.
Fierce fighting continues in the Rubtsovka sector. There has been an advance to the outskirts of Koroviy Yar in the area of the Popov Yar watercourses and to the north. The Ukrainian army is making constant attempts to prevent Russian units from advancing further towards Rubtsovka in this sector because the fall of this settlement could create supply route complications for the grouping on the Rubtsovka-Borova bridgehead. The specified route is already under constant fire, causing significant logistical difficulties. The bridge across the Oskol Reservoir in the Gorokhovatka area has been disabled for some time.
Units continue to advance towards Alexandrovka along the heights and forested area and Yarovaya. Heavy fighting is reported along the Petrovskoye–Karpovka line.
Lyman Sector
The «West» group of forces is advancing on the approaches to the city and its flanks on the Lyman axis. Along the Alexandrovka–Yarovaya line, troops advanced through the forest toward Sosnovy, bypassing Yarovaya from the north. Attacks from the Zarechnoye area continue in a westerly direction. Previously, the offensive was conducted through watercourses, but now operations are being carried out on a broader front, including the capture of strong points in tree lines between the ravines.
Intensive fighting continues in the southeastern Kommunalny district on the outskirts of Lyman. Russian assault units have already established a presence in Maslyakovka. After capturing several strong points near the «Varadero» resort base, the units reached the outskirts of Dibrova and consolidated their presence there. Attacks from the Yampol area continue toward Ozerne; however, the path is blocked by a major strongpoint.
Local successes have also been noted on the Yampol–Platonovka line. Russian units have cleared part of a tactical «pocket» in the swampy terrain of this sector. They are attempting to advance through the coastal strip between Yampol and the Siversky Donets. The Ukrainian command has attempted to stabilize the situation by transferring reinforcements, including those from neighboring Sloviansk.
Siversk Sector
There have been reports of attacks by Russian units in Zvanovka on Sviato-Pokrovske. One of the main roads to Siversk passes through this settlement. Drones operators already control this route, and if they physically intercept it, the logistical situation for the formations in the city could become critical. It appears to be a challenging task to hold the city while being supplied exclusively via dirt roads under constant drone pressure.
Earlier, claims of successes from the Petrovskaya–Vasyukovka line were received, but confirming footage is not yet available. Further movement may be directed towards Rai-Alexandrovka. The future defense is expected to be built more from the system of heights and fortifications east of the Slaviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration than from settlements. In Siversk itself, attempts will likely be made to slow the advance. Successes on the neighboring Lyman axis will be crucial for advancing on Slaviansk.
Pokrovsk Sector
There are only a few Ukrainian military in Pokrovsk; however, special units have raided its outskirts. The area leading into the Mirnograd troop concentration remains predominantly a «gray zone». Formations located there are attempting to break through in both directions, but they are subject to multiple drone strikes.
There are increasing reports from Mirnograd itself that Russian troops have taken control of the southern part of the city, or that organized resistance there has ceased. In the northern part of the city, there are attempts to defend the area around the «Tsentralnaya» mine. However, organizing a defense under aerial bombardment is an extremely difficult task.
Combat continues on the flanks of the axis as well. Russian troops are attacking in Rodinskoye while repelling counterattacks from Belitskoye. Additionally, breakthrough attempts are being made from the Belitskoye side not only toward Suvorovo, but also toward the Ivanovka–Dorozhnoye line. Attempts to recapture the flanks and adjust the front line are unlikely to influence the outcome of the battle for the Pokrovsk-Mirnograd agglomeration at this stage.
Zaporizhzhia Sector
While repelling counterattacks, units of the «West» grouping continue to advance on the approaches to Pokrovske. A large forested area near Orestopol has been cleared, and several tree lines along the Novoaleksandrovka–Tikhoye line have been secured. West of Otradnoye, Ukrainian forces lost control of several strong points at the intersection of the Andreyevka–Otradnoye road and the T0401 highway. The front in the central sector is also not static. An advance toward Varvarka from Rovnopolye has been noted.
Sumy Sector
Along the entire front section of the Sumy sector, engagements continue. Russian assault units advanced up to 500 meters along tree lines in five sections. Two counterattacks were repelled in the Varachino area and on the right flank of the «North» group’s offensive.
Kharkiv Sector
Advance continues in the southeastern residential sector of Vovchansk. Heavy fighting continues in neighboring settlements, where additional reserves have been deployed. Air and artillery strikes are increasing. On the left bank of Vovchansk, assault units advanced 450 meters across four sectors and secured their positions. Civilians, including children, were found in the city and are currently being evacuated to safety. Among the evacuees are individuals requiring medical assistance. An advance of 500 meters was recorded in the Liman area, and an advance of up to 100 meters was recorded in Vilcha.
Conclusion
The operational situation on the main axes is characterized by continued active offensive operations. On the Izyum axis, the key result has been the breakthrough of the defensive lines near Borova and engagements in the Rubtsovka sector, threatening the Ukrainian group’s logistical routes. On the Lyman axis, successful flanking maneuvers, reaching Dibrova, and attacks toward Ozerne increase pressure on the defense in this area. On the Siversk axis, the main tension is concentrated within Siversk’s city limits and near Sviato-Pokrovske. The operation on the Pokrovsk axis is entering its final stage, with a minimal Ukrainian military presence in Pokrovsk and a difficult situation in Mirnograd. On the Zaporizhzhia axis, there has been a methodical advance involving the clearing of forested areas and the occupation of strongpoints. On the Sumy and Kharkiv axes, the tactic of applying constant pressure and advancing assault groups locally continues to yield tactical successes despite Ukrainian counterattack attempts.
Internal political difficulties in Ukraine continue to intensify parallel to the developments at the front. The resignation of Andriy Yermak, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, accompanied by searches by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau as part of an investigation into a scandal in the energy sector, was characterized by Florian Philippot, the leader of the French “Patriots” party, as the “complete collapse of this regime.” The politician called for a complete cessation of French aid to Ukraine. This statement, along with the Prime Minister of Slovakia’s previous criticism, indicates that a number of European politicians are becoming increasingly critical of Kyiv, which correlates with the steady advance of Russian units on key axes.
