No Safe Place For NATO Tanks In Ukraine: First Leopard Destroyed Near Avdeevka

There is no safe place for German Leopard main battle tanks on Ukrainian frontlines. After Kiev’s counteroffensive in the Zaporozhie region failed, the Ukrainian military was forced to send a significant part of its forces from the southern direction to the Avdeevka front in an attempt to stop Russian advance around this strategically important stronghold of the AFU in the Donbass. Together with several Ukrainian brigades, Leopard tanks traveled from the Zaporozhie region to the Donetsk People’s Republic. German tanks were warmly welcomed by Russian fire on the outskirts of Avdeevka.

In the very first battle in the DPR, Leopard 2A6 was destroyed by the very first shot of Russian anti-tank missile. The tank belonged to the 47th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was sent to Avdeevka from the Orekhov region in the Zaporozhie region more than a week ago.

The excited Russian drone operators filmed the strike and shared footage online:

The strike likely hit the fuel tank, as a result, the tank got fire. The crew was seen escaping.

Ukrainian servicemen have recently filmed Leopard 2A6 tanks on their way to Avdeevka. The vehicles were equipped with anti-comulative grilles, but this invention of the Ukrainian military failed to protect the German vehicles.

More German Leopard MBTs were filmed burning on Ukrainian frontlines in the recent days. A lot of them are destroyed by small cheap FPV drones.

The mass deployment of foreign tanks in the battles confirms that the AFU are forced to deploy the strategic reserves in their last attempts to achieve at least some tactical gains in the Zaporozhie regions, while the same expansive gifts from NATO are already used in an attempt to stop Russian advance in the DPR.

the battlefield life of the leopards is even shorter than the german memories of war with russia as they go out without even a meow.

that is why they were scrapped in other nato countries, this was their second short life. but who can be so crazy to use them without possibility to distort drones. but it doesn’t matter otherwise they are neutralized by the airforce, artillery, mines or rpg. i noticed there even is a modern day panzerfaust in use.

Troy

they come and shoot the kremlin into pieces, hahahahaha

Malcolm Z

as usual along the history, germany made tanks use to turn into burning metal in russian lands…

no tanks can survive without air support. and even with air support, they can be easily disabled by drones. the israeli merkava mk iv was touted as one of the top 3 tanks in the world, ranked higher than most german tanks even, and they are not surviving top hits by hezbollah drone hits.

Clyde

they didn’t survive kornets nearly 20 years ago in lebanon.

Troy

this time they will conquer russian nazi land with their cousins abrams and challenger

Psionists slaves of America

kaboom. the stupid ukrainians are using their super expensive nato weapons in a piecemeal manner. us and eu money getting flushed down the toilet. defending israeli war criminals will be an even worse waste. putin wins again.

tanks are supposed to proceed, lead the advance with ground troops following, not the other way around.

Bird of Prey

thats old decadent world war 2 battle tactic. soldiers are much more likely to survive by using tree cover and stealth. tanks in modern warfare have been reduced to mobile artillery for the most part. there are times tanks engage soft targets but for the most part they are mobile artillery and highly prone to loitering munitions and cheap drones, fighter jets, etc — normally finished off by recon drone + artillery.

even while using tree cover, once the location is known, chance of survival is slim to none. artillery, thermobaric missiles, etc can light up a whole entrenchment into a circle of hell. then finished off by fundamental offensive using mechanized frontal assault

would like to tell the idiots who claimed my arty was obsolete 15 years ago, seems like queen of battle now but drones are game changers,ew is going to be the future-jam signals and drones drop unless preprogrammed for target
