In Doha, Afghanistan government and Taliban representatives failed to agree on a truce for the Eid al-Adha holiday.
Meanwhile, clashes all over the country continue. The situation remains tense in Parvan province, where the Taliban fighters are getting closer to the capital Kabul that remains under the government control.
On July 19, Taliban captured Najrab district, while ANA took control over Surkhe Parsa east of Kabul.

The U.S. handed over new attack helicopters to Afghanistan government forces, after at least three helicopters were destroyed by Taliban in the recent days.
“The helicopters were delivered to Kabul today and are to be officially handed over to the Air Force in a special ceremony. According to the plan, more helicopters will be delivered to Afghanistan in the coming months,” Afghan National Army’s (ANA) Shokhin Corps 209 spokesman was quoted as saying on July 16.
According to the reports 7 UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters were delivered to Kabul. All of them are provided with all necessary equipment to accurate target designation at any time of the day.
The number of the helicopters that should be provided by the next batch was not unveiled.
The Taliban militants have recently claimed the destruction of at least three Afghan helicopters by their UAVs. (LINK, LINK) In total, the Afghan Air Force (AAF) have reportedly lost about 8 helicopters since the beginning of 2021.
AAF seems to be the last hope for Kabul. While loosing control over regions all over the country, AAF airstrikes inflict heavy human and material losses on the Taliban. This is the reason why AAF helicopters are an important target for militant’s UAV’s.
That is a long way for Talibans to win the war, since they only occupied half of the country, without any backup they might lose.
If the Afghanistan govs has arial backup from foreign country then it would be less likely.
Why so? the casualties are so high for every engagement, Talibans may run out of men before the govs run out bullets.
What are your thoughts>
Its afganization of the war. nothing new, US did the same in Vietnam. The only force in ANA capable to fight Talibans is commando corpus, cca 20000 soldiers. They can do search & destroy until helos become dried out. And then only Kabul will be held.

What you say could be true but TALIBAN HAS MADE THE MOST BRILLIANT TACTICAL MOVE BY CAPTURING ALL THE BORDER CROSSING THUS THEY HAVE JUGULAR VIENS OF KABUL IN THEIR HAND AND THEY CAN SMOKE THEM OUT ANYTIME BUT IT IS NOT IN THEIR INTEREST
THEY WANT AN INCLUSIVE GOVERNMENT WITH KABUL SO THEY CAN HAVE PEACE AND DEVELOP AFGHANISTAN
You are underinformed about Afghanistan. Bill Roggio is the man you should follow on twitter to learn first hand information about What’s going on in Afghanistan. He agrees that at least 70% of Afghanistan is under Taliban control. The Taliban are deliberately not attacking provincial capitals because of Turkey-Pakistan pressure to try and reach an agreement with the Afghan government. Turkey and Pakistan want to avert a civil war in Afghanistan and they want a Taliban government that receives global recognition. However, everything depends on the negotiation between Taliban and the U.S puppets.
Remember in 2001? It was easy they said. We are the best army in the world, second to none they said. The Taliban may run out of men they said.
The US told Pakistan’s government to tell the Taliban to stop supporting Al-Qaeda and that the US is going to invaded Afghanistan. Soon after that, the US invaded Afghanistan to fight Al-Qaeda and the Taliban mainly because the Taliban were working with Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups and other BS the yanquis said to control Afghanistan really.
Also, it is important to know, the Taliban took the power from Mujahideen -> Mujahideen were very pro-West (they got support from the West to fight the Soviet Union and Taliban with The Sunni Pakistan came in and killed their leader and took the power, Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan – there is much more that I missed – but look it up or just talk to Afghan who still care about their country.
Also, following the United States invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, the Taliban was defeated and many Taliban fighters left the movement or retreated to sanctuaries in Pakistan.
A lot of Taliban went AFK you could say, and now that the Taliban coming back and have the US out, they would be more of them, sure but the thing is the Northern Alliance and other anti-Taliban groups are on rising as well, for you know the last 25 years.
Anyway, the yanquis give up like back way back and start to give support and fight if they have to, air support and whatnot.
Afghanistan wasn’t Iraq, it is true, Iraqi are mostly Shia and so the yanquis went after Sunnis, but in Afghanistan, the population is mostly Sunnis, and the Taliban live with the population.
Role of the Pakistani military,
The Taliban were largely founded by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence beginning in 1994; the I.S.I. used the Taliban to establish a regime in Afghanistan which would be favourable to Pakistan, as they were trying to gain strategic depth. Since the creation of the Taliban, the ISI and the Pakistani military have given financial, logistical and military support.
During 2001, according to several international sources, 28,000–30,000 Pakistani nationals, 14,000–15,000 Afghan Taliban and 2,000–3,000 Al-Qaeda militants were fighting against anti-Taliban forces in Afghanistan as a roughly 45,000 strong military force. Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf – then as Chief of Army Staff – was responsible for sending thousands of Pakistanis to fight alongside the Taliban and Bin Laden against the forces of Ahmad Shah Massoud.
A clown like you
You are quoting ACCORDING TO SEVERAL INTERNATIONAL SOURCES BUT THESE SOURCES ARE REAL SOURCE OF FAKE NEWS
IF WAR CRIMINAL TONY BLAIR CAN LIE IN THE BRITISH PARLIAMENT ABOUT SADDAM’S WMD AND INFRONT OF WORLD CAMERAS WHAT CREDIBILITY DO YOU GIVE TO THESE INTERNATIONAL SOURCES
EVEN TRUMP PROVED THAT WESTERN MASS MEDIA CANNOT BE TRUSTED
LASTLY Napoleon’s remarks that: “History is constructed from lies which are no longer contested
Taliban have a sea of men to fill their ranks. dont believe that their casualities are high , thats american , the anti christ propaganda , probably these are killed civilians they claim . just like in vietnam body count was exaggerated. more likley the”govt” will run out of men long before they run out of ammo , due to desertions and switching sides. They have 85% of the country now and they hold the important parts like border crossings and economic assets for tax collection.
Iran wont attack Taliban and start another war , together with allies China and Russia they will go for long game of engagement and negotation.
Your theory is contradicted by Reality.
If the Taliban could “run out of men”, they would have done so 20 years ago.
If support of a foreign power was enough to keep the ‘Afghan government’ in power, then why are they falling now ?
If the Americans could not defeat the Taliban after 20 years IN AFGHANISTAN what makes you think they will do any better now that they’re physically out of the country?
The Taliban will once again rule. That is a guaranteed fact.
The way the situation is developing, i suggest that high-ranking Afghan government politicians and anybody who worked for the US/NATO/lapdog invaders start getting their personal affairs in order and prepare to make a quick exit from the country. Your life expectancy may be drastically shortened by small arms fire at a very close range.
Like the past 20 years, you mean?
Do you really think the Taliban wouldn’t kill them because of yanquis? Really…
Taliban killed mostly civilians and pro-government forces for the past 20 years, but there are parts of Afghanistan that never saw any fighting and some of the Afghan population never let the Taliban in for the past 25 years.
Have a look at the map.

The Taliban were in power before the Americans came and double-wrecked the country.
Now, when Afghans are more destroyed, impoverished and directionless than 20 years ago, what makes you think they can unite and fight other afghans?
For those who forget, the ‘Taliban’ are not one group, they are Pathan, Pakhtun, Pashtun and others.
And if they lose, remember that the Northern Alliance are even worse than the Taliban … There are far worse than the Taliban in who could be in power, ISIS, the former Northern Alliance, Pakistani Terror groups, or the USA.
