On the night of May 21, Russian strikes hit targets in Ukrainian rear regions. Numerous explosions thundered in the southern Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, central Kirovograd, Cherkassy and eastern Kharkiv, Dnepropetrovsk regions.
The Ukrainian military declared another fake victory. According to the Command of the Ukrainian Air Force, 38 out of 39 Russian UAVs that targeted the Ukrainian territory last night.
The fake reports were denied by the Ukrainian monitoring sources and footage from the Ukrainian cities.
Ukrainian military sources confirmed several strikes of Russian UAVs on the outskirts of Odessa. More strikes damaged port infrastructure in the port town of Ilyichevsk (formerly Chernomorsk).
Ukrainian military facilities were reportedly struck in Cherkassy, but the exact targets of the attack were not revealed.
The eastern Kharkiv region, where the Russian army continues offensive, is pounded by Russian drones, missiles and heavy bombs. In the past months, Russian tactical aviation with upgraded heavy bombs with universal planning and correction modules began bombing Ukrainian military and industrial facilities in the city of Kharkiv.
Last night, more Russian strikes hit the Ukrainian military in the war-torn areas of the Kharkiv and in the city. The footage from Kharkiv confirmed that Russian drones reached numerous targets. Fires broke out in the city:

Thus, the Kiev regime once again failed to stage another victory of the Ukrainian Air Force over Russian kamikaze drones. Ukrainian fake propaganda, spread by high-ranking military officials, is aimed at calming down the population and reassuring Kiev’s Western patrons that the Ukrainian military can withstand Russian attacks.
On the other hand, Zelensky does not stop begging NATO leaders for supply of more Western air defense systems. One of his recent demands to European countries was to use their air defense forces to intercept Russian drones and missiles from NATO territory. He claimed that if NATO countries do not supply F-16s to Ukraine, they should deploy them in Eastern European countries to repel Russian attacks.
The suggestion to use NATO air defense forces away from the territory of Ukraine was officially voiced only several days ago. Some European officials have denied their readiness to take such a step, but the ongoing discussions, which already involved illegitimate Ukrainian President Zelensky, show that the warmongers in NATO are preparing public opinion for the possible involvement of Western air defense forces in the conflict against Russia. Such a decision could lead to a serious escalation in Europe, as NATO air defense systems, aircraft and airfields could become legitimate targets for Russian retaliation strikes.
