On July 19, Ukrainian media shared video footage showing an alleged Ukrainian policeman splashing a red liquid that resembles blood, and might be real blood, at a man wearing scrubs in Kiev city after the July 8 Russian attack on Ukraine.
The footage was supposedly taken right next to the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital, which the Kiev regime alleged was hit by a Russian Kh-101 land-attack cruise missile during the attack. Kiev claimed that two adults were killed and 16 other people, including seven children, were killed in the hospital.
The same blooded man was seen in several photos and videos which were shared by the mainstream media in the West along with reports of the alleged Russian attack on the hospital.
Nevertheless, it is unclear if the new footage showing the man being splashed with the red liquid are authentic, or another propaganda stunt by the Kiev regime meant to fool the Russian media and discredit the Russian stance on the attack.
Russia had rejected Ukraine’s claims, revealing that the hospital was in fact hit by a missile fired from one of the American-Norwegian NASAMS medium-range air defense systems deployed around Kiev. The Kh-101 missiles all impacted the Artem military plant in the city, which produces munitions for Kiev forces.
The videos and photos that surfaced from the hospital casted some serious doubts on Ukraine’s claims, as the level of destruction didn’t resemble the damage that could have been caused by a Kh-101 missile.
In addition, the behavior of first responders, especially the color of the blood on the scrubs of the man also seen in the newly-released footage, appeared to be unrealistic. This might have pushed the Kiev regime to release the follow up fake footage to discredit anyone who would voice these doubts.
All in all, the videos from the scene of the alleged attack and the newly-released footage all appear to be fake, or at least heavily manipulated.
Since the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine more than two years ago, the Kiev regime has pulled several similar propaganda stunts to discredit Russia and gain the sympathy of people in the West. Thus, this kind of behavior is not new, although the Ukrainians are getting more choppy at it.
