The Ukrainian military continues attempts to launch attacks on the Russian rear areas. The Crimean peninsula remains the main target, which Ukrainian forces attempt to reach almost on a daily basis.

Around noon, the governor of the Kherson region reported that the Russian Air Defense Forces were shooting down Ukrainian missiles flying towards the Crimea. In total, seven missiles were shot down over the Kherson region. Most of them were destroyed in the air, two missiles detonated on the ground in a deserted area on the Arabat Strelka. People and infrastructure were not affected.
At the same time, the governor of Sevastopol reported that the Russian military in Crimea was working to destroy a large number of air targets throughout the peninsula. Air alert was heard in the city twice and it lasted for more than two hours. Smoke was seen in the Sevastopol Bay. It was used by the Russian military to protect the ships and facilities in the area. There were no reports about any damage or victims as a result of the attack.
In the morning, the traffic on the Crimean Bridge was suspended for about an hour. It was also stopped for the second time in several hours. The bridge was also covered by the smokescreen.
The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the attacks.
On October 30, the Russian military repelled another attack on the peninsula. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainian military targeted Crimea with eight Storm Shadow missiles. According to the governor of Sevastopol, at least two aerial targets were destroyed over the city. Wreckage fell in several areas, including on the territory of the local school No. 27. There were no lessons at school now because of the holidays, but there were children in extra classes, they went down to the shelter immediately after the air alarm sounded. Children were not wounded. More wreckage fell in the court of a private house near the railway in the area of the Mekenziy Mountains, a 57-year-old man was slightly wounded.
