More than 200 jihadists killed at Artillery Academy in southern Aleppo: Tiger Forces

AlMasdarNews reports: The Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) large-scale counter-assault in southern Aleppo finally paid off on Sunday, as they were able to establish full control over the strategic Artillery Academy.

According to Al-Masdar’s direct contacts from the Tiger Forces in southern Aleppo, the jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) suffered over 200 casualties during the battle for the Artillery Academy on Sunday.

The military sources added that Jaysh Al-Fateh’s defenses completely collapsed after the Tiger Forces and Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary) overran their positions at the central buildings in the Artillery Academy.

With the capture of the Aleppo Artillery Academy on Sunday, the Syrian Armed Forces will likely turn their attention to the southern sector of the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project; this area is still under Jaysh Al-Fateh control.
