This map provides a general look at the military situation in southeastern Syria on June 18, 2017. Government forces area advancing against ISIS in the countryside of Palmyra, in the eastern Hama countryside and in the western part of the province of Raqqah.
Day by day the situation gets better and better tho it still remains serious
Any confirmation on SAA entering Der Ezzor province from the desert and cutting Suknah-T3 road???
I heard pmu and SAA entered it from the south from the border
There are so news that they broke out all the way to T2 pumping station and airport from south east (iraq border=?
i read them. i hope, they are not fakes.
By the time the forces in Palmyra approach sukhnah, the tiger forces will be in deir ezzor.
Careful reading this map. Not all oil wells are equal. The wells east near Iraq have the largest reserves.
the enemy does not sleep

The Syrians near Raqqah can threaten the US head-chopping, heart-eating rapers near Palmyra as well as those besieging Deir Ezzor. Spoilt for choice.
It is interesting to note on the map that the Kurds control very little of the oil and gas fields, and are not
in a position to capture more, because of their manpower shortage. The Kurds have also stated that they don’t want to go South of the Euphrates river.
The SAA, on the other hand is in position to quickly grab these assets, around Palmyra, South of Tabqua, and, especially around Dier Ezzor, after ISIS is defeated.
:DDDDDDDD
These assets are Syrian , built by Syrians , they are being reclaimed from ISIS .
The Kurds are already south of their traditional area by going as far south as the river
For now the river is a good division line , until Deir Ezzor , where Kurdish territory is quite far north . Sadly the US seems intent on sparking a Kurdish – Syrian conflict . Just when you think victory over the jihadists will bring peace , the Americans want another ten years of war .
Agreed …… The US is obviously thinking about what happens after ISIS is eliminated.
Obviously the US has secretly promised the Kurds their own homeland in exchange
for their fight against ISIS. Therefore, they want to guarantee the Kurds security from multiple enemies and also guarantee themselves a seat at the table to determine the future of Syria when ISIS is gone.
The more important Syrian assets that they control, like the Tabqah dam and
nearby oil wells, the more cards they will have to play later at the bargaining table to fulfill their secret deal with the Kurds.
not the best map.
