Yemen forces should use Badar-1P or Qahar-M2 as SAM missiles to shot down Saudi fighter jets. Just they need to fit either infrared or heat seeker or drone camera on its tips and remotely detonate it near Saudi planes. As Yemen control their drones similarly Yemen can control these missiles as well.

Qaher-M2 is a copy of Soviet era SAM missile developed by Yemeni forces. Its warhead weight: 350 Kg , Operational range: 400 Km.

If Yemeni scientists install Semi-active RADAR seeker, infrared seeker or even drone camera with better zoom in Qahar-M2 then that can lock Yemen aerospace for Saudi butcher planes.
That doesn’t work like that,generally air defense missile can be converted to SRBM(tactical ballistic missile)but you can’t convert MRBM or Scud-like ballistic missile in to Air defense missile,not in million years,air defense missile has to be fast and maneuverable while Ballistic missiles are completely different design,have non maneuverable body which has only one job,to reach certain altitude,after that warhead is detached and continues to fly while body sole fall from sky….So,you can convert air defense missile to short range ballistic missile but other way around is not possible and there is no need for that,Huties have got Iranian Sayyad 2C air defense missiles and they also converted some R-27 a2a missiles to short range SAMs…
I am hundred percent agree with you but the Qahar-M2 missile is a copy of S-75 SAM missile, right. There they need four jets at the neck of missile for manoeuvrability. Yemen have already done this experiment as shown in the following video.
