hundreds of times humiliated russian army can’t get pokrovsk. all russia can do is spreading fake news of “advancing”.
that is the west that is whining for a ceasefire for ukraine to regroup.
the kremlin is projecting the narrative of a powerful russia and a powerful russian president vladimir putin to conceal the real weaknesses and limitations of russia’s capabilities and distract from russia’s battlefield failures. putin has long held that the perception of weakness can be lethal in a system built on the premise of strength — a principle that applies to the stability of his regime as well as to russia’s position in the world.
desertion in the ukrainian army is an epidemic at that point, and ukrainian propagandists are desperate to stay in their fantasy world that is collapsing aound them.
stalin went all the way to berlin faster than it’s taken putin to fully ‘liberate’ donbas…heeehehhheheeh
this is not a speed contest. it is an attrition war that the west is losing badly while russia is having comparatively much lower casualties than ukraine.
three years into its war against ukraine, the kremlin is unable to protect a parade in russia’s capital from a risk of drone strikes launched from ukraine — a country over a thousand miles away from moscow that russia thought it could conquer in a matter of days in 2022.
contrary to your delusion, the us is well aware of who is winning this war. the bad (as usual) projections of the us intelligence services in 2022 do not engage the russian forces.
forces of putin have not captured kyiv, as they set out to do in 2022, nor have they captured all of kherson, zaporizhia, or donetsk oblasts. they have been on the offensive for roughly 18 months but have gained only limited territory — and almost no significant settlements — at a staggering cost in casualties and lost materiel.
this is not a war of conquest but a war of attrition and russia has much less casualties than ukraine because it values human life, contrary to ukraine and the west.
tell me what ukraine has gained aside from thousands of new cemetery plots??
the whole world is laughing at incompetent and impotent russian military led by fat neck generals.
the “whole world” meaning the western counties with delusion of grandeur and fancying themselves “the international community”. the same that are whining for a “immediate ceasefire” because the afu is crushed to a pulp and need regrouping and rearming.
that’s ok, the russians are so weak that you nordic assholes will have the chance to fight them soon. and while you’re all dying at the front your women will be getting raped by africans and middle easterners. oh wait, they’re already getting raped right in front of you and you’re not doing anything about it, my bad
russian milbloggers accused the mod of performative “reporting” instead of addressing systemic issues with the russian military, with some milbloggers even calling the mod the “russian ministry of camouflage selfies.”
russia have financed its war machine from a welfare fund, originally intended to secure pensions and social spending. now that fund is rapidly dwindling and is only a third of its size at the beginning of 2022.
