When 6th general dies?

And 8 are sacked: Generals are fired and put under house arrest
On Friday, there were increasing reports that the Russian secret service FSB had Roman Gavrilov, the vice-chief of the National Guard Rosgvardia, arrested. According to Christo Grozev, Russia expert of the research network “Bellingcat”, he is accused of “wasting fuel” in the attack on the neighbouring country. The Russian news portal “Ura.ru” only reported Gavrilov’s dismissal for unknown reasons, “possibly compromising”.

Ura.ru

Putin had publicly humiliated Sergei Naryshkin, head of Russia’s foreign intelligence agency SWR, in the first three weeks of the war. He also placed two FSB generals under house arrest and had Viktor Solotov, head of the National Guard and a member of the Russian Security Council, fired.

Thus, at a meeting of the Security Council, the Kremlin chief sharply attacked the FSB’s foreign officers, Soldatov reported. The head of the FSB department Sergei Beseda and his deputy were put under house arrest for allegedly doctoring information for Putin before the war.
This is yet another indication that Putin completely miscalculated his invasion. The Kremlin did not correctly assess the resistance of the Ukrainian population in advance, nor the harsh sanctions imposed by the West.

The “mess” for Putin is so big that he is “betting on other horses in the middle of the race – a taboo in war”, writes “Bellingcat” journalist Grozev. This verdict could at least give Ukraine some hope, even if Putin still wants to achieve his war aims by force and has yet to show any serious interest in negotiations.
In any case, the president is under pressure to act, even if there are no certain reports of resistance in the Kremlin’s inner circle yet. Domestically, he urgently needs successes, also in front of his own population. Successes that have so far failed to materialise in Ukraine.

Day 24 of Russia winning big time hyper bole war, lol.

Kiev will fall in two days, honest!

Maybe the recruits should have stayed instead, not being stuck in Soviet era doctrines like the fired and killed generals. 🤷

Every life lost is lost due to Putins decision to listen to his yesmen. Poor soldiers, poor souls, poor decision, poor people. 🙄

Who can rebuild the Ukraine ones the invasion finally failed, ones the war is over? Russia with an economy sanctioned to ruins, or the west? People in Ukraine are smart enough to know themselves. 🤷

I’m sorry for the people in Ukraine and Russia, as all of them will have to pay the price.

GENERAL NOVOROSSIA DEATH TO UKROPISISASHKENAZISTAN

More nazi nonsense vomit propaganda from shit for brains.

Sorry, this isn’t a movie. You cannot wish a victory and it comes to reality. Zelenskiy should capitulate or he will end up with a mini landlocked banderistan and his washington puppetstringers will cut his head off due to failure. Every western and even israeli leaders are telling him to take the terms, its already too late for him.

One of he reasons that the Russians haven’t been quick to take Odessa may be the underground tunnel system:

“The Odesa catacombs are known as one of the longest underground labyrinths in the world, with a total length of 2,500 kilometres. Other famous labyrinths within the territory of Ukraine include the Adzhymushkaiski quarries near the city of Kerch, where thousands of partisans and local residents hid during World War II.

The Black Sea catacombs do not form a continuous system, since each mine was created separately and parallel paths formed in different areas. They are also separated by numerous valleys and lowlands, features of the local landscape.

The Odesa catacombs stretch along the coastline for 80 to 100 kilometres, with mines at depths ranging from six to 38 metres below the surface, forming unsystematic labyrinths that periodically collapse, prompting a ban on new construction in Odesa.”

That is a nice but romantic notion. I think you give the Ukraine forces too much credit, they are not the VC and unfortunately in modern warfare tunnels are not much use against bunker busters as the Iraqis and Taliban found out. Russia and DPR have plenty to do right now. Perhaps when Mykolaiv and Kherson are secured and Odessa resistance is depleted through artillery and missile strikes, then they will focus on Odessa. But the threat of attack keeps forces in Odessa which would otherwise be fighting in those cities.

Maybe next century

RichardD

It sounds like it’s a pretty extensive network. It would take a lot of bombing to render it unusable. Language might be a bigger factor:

“According to the Seventh Annual Ukrainian Municipal Survey, 96% of the residents of Odessa spoke some Russian at home and 29% spoke some Ukrainian at home”

The problem with that their position already known by russian .Russia use thermobaric bomb and rocket effectively in Syria. Even those syrian terrorist had better cave than them, only problem if they put hostage as false military target which is more problem to russia than their cave defense

Huehuehuehuee

Russia is so effective in Idlib, bombing it for 7 years…

Absolutely agree. Military academy here.

Timmy Temeperance

NATO managed to kill themselves in Norway. The Johnson has gone full retard with some of his more recent disgraceful comments on Russia, and there are signs that even some in the UK media are sick of clearly being on the wrong side of history and are meeting UK Government claims about Ukraine military successes with scepticism. It is clear to any thinking person that the UK Government will urge Ukraine to fight until there is no one left but Zelensky, and that their reasons for doing so are utterly selfish.

Depending Moscow directives, like in good nazi times.

eat shit and die

Moscow defeated Nazis you braindead LGBT monkey spam-bot

Scaathor

Fog of war… plus many Russian advances in the south west are best described as recon, ie probing the enemy until contact is made, assess their strength then withdraw. If the enemy breaks cover in pursuit, Russian CAS smacks them down when they are out in the open.

The lines will be fluid until the Ukro forces are mapped out and then degraded by arty and MLRS prior to any push by ground forces.

Johan

Why does it take sooooo much time to mape them out. Fear to fight them?

sod off

Why do you eat sooooo much shit dumb moron. Hungry much?

jorge

The Wikipedia detailed map also presents the same inconsistencies. But in the northeast of Chernihiv oblast almost all the cities are under siege or under attack for many days. There you can have some reason, so, a sugestion to South Front, give us the actual situation in all those cities, Shostka, Krolevets (under siege), Voronizh, Hlukhiv, Peremoha (under attack).

Surrounded and passed by a lot of dozen kilometers. Some rear good troops target practice then all those nazi LGBTQ retards inside. No useless casualties with urban fights…

Oh, nope, they are really accurate besides some errors. Only a trained and informed eye can see that. Overall they are the best war maps on the whole WEB.

Slobodan

Yes, but what I mean is, one day there are two blue pockets, the next day they are red. Then the next day blue pockets again, day after that red again.

GENERAL NOVOROSSIA DEATH TO UKROPISISASHKENAZISTAN

Because war is a fluid thing? Not the smartest are you? If anything it shows how accurate, up to date, well informed and honest SF is

jorge

I looked again and the northeast of Chernihiv oblast is really the only area where SouthFront map and wikipedia map seems to diverge, but the wikipedia map is one of cities only, not about controled areas. If they have all the cities (with exception of a little one) under siege or attack, they must control at least the roads on all the area.

Well some of it might be like the following, take the little arm that appears and disappears north west of Mykolaiv. If reports come in of RU units spotted there then the map gets updated to show that, it’s not known if that is dedicated advance or just scouting mission, or a bunch of strikes or activity in area that day. The next day maybe UAF are spotted in same area, or it’s learned there is no dedicated advance in that area, so maps are updated to indicate that, and back and forth till there is more clarity. fog + fluidity explains most of it.

B A

Some of those oscillation changes are, like Scaathor says, likely fog of war. The rest might be repositioning. Also, for good reasons, the maps and positions the public is given is also not going to be 100% accurate.

Problem is they used their “Elite troops” to” clean up” the killing and destruction of innocent people. Clearly before you cry victory wait until the war ended and the Ukraines partizans killed the last russian schoolboy fighting. Why don’t you recoup your dead soldiers waiting in trains to be shipped?

Good boys ! You made what I ask for ! Totally fucking the Skadovska from the rear !
Now, advance south of Mikolaiv, around the city and put a leg onto the Tylishusky liman, sectioning the road between Odessa and Mikolaiv. No more a km beyond this spot. Use Navy to pound the nazi targets there for a more easy advancing. When this will be done I will tell what to do next. Destroy those nazi terrorists ! Long Live Russia !

My advice: recon recon recon. Far more focus on aerial reconnaissance. Near Ukr transport routes and perimeter patrols for protective role.

Second point, the more you cut off their arms and Methamphetamine supply the more effectively you choke the Azovs. Eastward movements should be scrutinized. Thirdly, test out decoy technology and strategies, esp near the fringes of perimeters, to hamper enemy satellite intel and help reveal enemy locations.
