  • Russian strikes destroyed targets in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Odesa, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Poltava, Mykolaiv regions, and the DPR;
  • According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of August 09, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 174 strike UAVs, 2 Oniks missiles, 6 Iskander missiles, and 4 Kh-31/Kh-59 missiles;
  • Russian forces struck an electrical substation in Odesa, as well as fuel depots in Bilyari and Novi Bilyari, and a road bridge in Mayaky, blocking traffic to the Danube ports;
  • Russian forces struck UAV and EW warehouses in Savyntsi, Zidky, Barvinkove, and Volokhiv Yar in the Kharkiv region;
  • Russian forces struck oil production facilities in the Okhtyrka district of the Sumy region;
  • Russian forces destroyed UAV command posts in the DPR and Kherson region with FAB-3000 and FAB-500 bombs, and struck a temporary deployment point of the 34th AFU Marine Brigade in Antonivka;
  • Russian forces struck warehouses in the Dnipropetrovsk region;
  • Russian forces struck workshops of the Kromberg & Schubert Ukraina plant in Zhytomyr;
  • Ukrainian losses amounted to approximately 1,445 troops over the past 24 hours.

  • Russian forces expanded the area under their control in the vicinity of Kazachya Lopan;
  • Fighting is ongoing in the area near the settlements of Goptovka-Kudiivka-Shcherbakovka.
