A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Israeli missiles targeted positions of Iranian-backed forces in the area of Sahnaya in the Damascus countryside and in the areas of Mahajah, Izraa in Daraa province. 2 people were reportedly killed and 7 others were injured;
- Syrian Arab Army (SAA) artillery shelled Turkish-backed militants’ positions in the villages of Kansafra, Baylun and Muazira
- The joint Russian-Turkish patrol took place in the western Darbasiyah countryside;
- The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that soldiers from Russia and Turkey had carried out their first joint exercise, in which they were trained to repell the attacks of armed groups that reject reconciliation.
