A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- 8 military helicopters carried out strikes on Barisha. MSM speculates that the strikes were a part of the US operation to eliminate al-Baghdadi;
- The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reinforced its positions near Ayn al-Arab and west of Qamishly;
- A Turkish soldier was killed, 5 others were wounded in “scouting” operation in the Ras al-Ain area;
- Security measures were increased in Manbij amid a growing threat of terrorist attacks;
- US troops that recently entered Syria are no in the Qasrak base on the Tell Tamr-Qamishli highway.
