Started with protests in Daraa in 2011, the Syrian conflict rapidly turned into a war with a number of foreign powers supporting various militant groups (including al-Qaeda-linked) against the government of Bashar al-Assad. Since then, the country has been a point of instability in the Middle East.
Russia began a military intervention in Syria in 2015 after an official request by the Syrian government for military help against militant groups. This allowed the Syrian government to survive and to regain initiative in a battle against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda), ISIS and other militant groups.
That’s just some creative crayon work by the admin. US and proxies may be doing some aggressive patrolling up to T2, but to have semi encircled it is a bit too much. There’s just empty desert around the base, no roads and no land features. In order for US to control T2 they’ll have to take it. And since they haven’t already that means there’s a significant ISIL presence there.
The T2 airbase was a major munitions depot for Daesh. The US/NFSA left one side open as an escape route for ISIS fighters trapped inside so they can be gunned down in the desert.
We all know it’s just open desert (not even many buildings out there)
Perhaps the militia took a wrong turn at the crossroads up north? :D
It has been reported that US and Russia had agreed to a 55 KM no trespass zone around the Al Tanf training base (where US and UK have special forces).
Anyways this SAA move will force weak FSA to pull back their dogs from further up north of this “de-conflict zone”.
Clearly “green forces” has a way!..it is a line from Al Tanf to Ithriya…to Raqqa….to Deir Ezzor and to Iraq border al bukama!… Gas/oil fields…US Coalition and Saudis has wasted a lot of money in Syrian war and they want some benefits!…this is a iilegal invasion and Russia, Syria must to stop them or they can lose the war!
Look like T2 airfield is about to be swallowed by the green beast.
But I like the new red dagger pointed at it’s heart (Al Tanf).

I like the seeing the green surrounding those fool SAA militias.

Move along terror-supporter, you’re not welcome here…
S-400 and Syrian and Russian airforces need to be active if they want to stop and American protectorate in southeast Syria.
