On July 9, the Russian Ministry of Defence recorded no hostilities and ceasefire violations in the Idlib region in the past 24 hours;
On July 8, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled SDF positions north of Manbij;
On July 8, one civilian was killed by unknown gunmen in the town of Jasim;
On July 8, Russia vetoed a draft resolution of the United Nations Security Council on reauthorization of cross-border aid mechanism to Syria. The US vetoed the Russian project.
