- On January 3, the SDF arrested Hafez Al-Khabil, former ISIS leader in the city of Al-Basira, east of Deir Ezzor;
- On January 3, the SAA targeted a vehicle near the city of Atarib by an anti-tank missile;
- On January 3, the SDF arrested 14 people in the districts of Tal Brak and Al-Hol on charges of belonging to the ISIS organization;
