A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- On January 26, Syrian Arab Army (SAA) artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in the villages of Majdaliya and Maar Balit;
- On January 26, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled SDF positons near Ain Issa;
- On January 26, clashes between the SAA and ISIS cells were reported near Sukhnah;
- On January 26, the Russian Military Police carried out a patrol near Amuda town;
- On January 26, the US Military sent a reinforcements to al-Malikiyah city;
- On January 26, three people killed and several others were wounded by a car bomb blast in Tal Abyadh;
