A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- On January 22, Russia reported that Idlib militants violated the ceasefire regime in Greater Idlib 21 times: 7 – in Idlib province, 3 – in Latakia province, 7 – in Hama province, 4 – in Aleppo province;
- On January 22, SAA artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in Kansafra village;
- On January 22, the SDF reportedly repelled attacks of Turkish-backed forces on the M4 highway near Ain Issa;
- On January 22, a Turkish UAV targeted Memite neighborhood in Ain al-Arab city wounding several people.
