dozens of people close to the syrian armed factions are demonstrating to demand the displacement of the people of nubl and zahraa, and forcing them to pay sums of money as punishment for not supporting the military factions against the former syrian regime.
factions gathered in a demonstration at the entrance to the road leading to the towns of nubl and zahraa in the northern countryside of aleppo, northern syria.
the demonstration carried slogans calling for the “deportation
of the residents of the two towns from the area, and “handing over their homes to the residents of the neighboring villages.” it also carried provocative slogans calling for “forcing the residents of the two towns to pay sums of money as punishment and as compensation to the surrounding villages,” because of “their failure to support the military factions against the former regime in syria

this demonstration was preceded by a campaign on social media, “targeting the presence of the people of the towns of nubl and zahraa” who are members of the shiite sect in the northern countryside of aleppo.
incitement campaign also recorded calls for a demonstration moving from the towns of hayyan and bayanoun towards the town of nubl.
