SYRIAN WAR

Started with protests in Daraa in 2011, the Syrian conflict rapidly turned into a war with a number of foreign powers supporting various militant groups (including al-Qaeda-linked) against the government of Bashar al-Assad. Since then, the country has been a point of instability in the Middle East. Russia began a military intervention in Syria in 2015 after an official request by the Syrian government for military help against militant groups.This allowed the Syrian government to survive and to regain initiative in a battle against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda), ISIS and other militant groups.

The Syrian Army has repelled a counter-attack by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, and continued its advance on Maarat al-Numan;
The Turkish delegation in Moscow continues negotiations on the situation in Syria and Libya with the Russian side;
An ISIS attack on positions of the Syrian Army was reported on the highway between al-Sukhna and Ash-Shula;
Russia and Turkey continue joint patrols in northeastern Syria. e) A supposed ISIS cell threw a grendate at an SDF point in Raqqa city;
The Turkish-based Syrian Interim Government claimed that it had sent reinforcements to Idlib.

And Russian airstrikes have stopped, they should also mention that fact, and to be more precise they haven’t launched any sortie’s over the last 2 days, only SAAF airstrikes are ongoing.
the liberation of Idlib is stalling.
