Started with protests in Daraa in 2011, the Syrian conflict rapidly turned into a war with a number of foreign powers supporting various militant groups (including al-Qaeda-linked) against the government of Bashar al-Assad. Since then, the country has been a point of instability in the Middle East.
Russia began a military intervention in Syria in 2015 after an official request by the Syrian government for military help against militant groups. This allowed the Syrian government to survive and to regain initiative in a battle against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda), ISIS and other militant groups.
Comparing to april 2017…. not bad! ?? https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/5c09e7cc7197121207071fa1cd3b6c29da1b6611101922322a35f3b6a2077650.jpg
Actually, the area under Turkeys and their headchoppers slightly smaller as the SAA control 6 kms belt north of Khan Sheikhoun. That is the reason the headchoppers wanted a ceasefire and unfortunately Russia gave it, and this will cause major problems for Syria and Russia in the long run. These Wahhabi roaches need to be eliminated.
excellente news bravo saa!!
Sadly, Russia gave the headchoppers and their Turkey masters another reprieve to regroup and rearm. These bizarre Russian polices will just prolong the misery for the long suffering Syrian people.
Can’t wait to see the day when Kurds or so called SDF returns terrirory to SAA. After all Kurds did not hold even close to that much territory.
They tried in Iraq, it failed. It will fail in Syria too, USA will leave them just like they left Kurds in Iraq when Iraqi army made a stance.
