The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are clashing with ISIS terrorists in the Syrian city of Raqqah. After the first gains in the area, the SDF faced some resistance from ISIS and the SDF advance slowed down.

It was repoprted that ISIS forces had launched an attack on SDF forces west of Raqqa – was that in this area or further north?
