why would any sovereign country disarm itself while an invading force keeps attacking it, as that force is used to never respect any cease fire deal (or any international law or treaty whatsoever)? lebanese people are abused by an occupying power. the official gov looks like an us ‘protectorate’ (but not protected), so weak, acts like a sellout to usil interests.
