A brief overview of the recent developments in Libya:
- Government of National Accord (GNA) spokesman Muhammad Qanunu stated that the LNA keeps hundreds of Chadian mercenaries in a training camp in Zalla and Libyan National Army (LNA) forces set up checkpoints from eastern Sirte to Al-Jufrah and to southern Sabha;
- Protesters in western Tripoli faced the Bashagha convoy heading to Janzour with chants against Turkish-backed Syrian mercenaries;
- The GNA appointed Salah al-Din al-Namroush as the Defense Minister and Mohamed al-Haddad as the Chief of Staff;
- According to pro-Turkish sources, over 300 pieces of military equipment were deployed in the area of Mitiga Airport.
