A brief overview of the recent developments in Iraq:
- A big explosion occurred at PMU weapons depot in Speicher military base. According to Salahaddin Operations Command, it was caused by poor storage of IEDs;
- An explosive device detonated near the police checkpoint in the city of Kirkuk. No casualties were reporte;
- According to the Turkish Ministry of Defense, two Turkish soldiers were killed in attack carried out by PKK fighters on a Turkish military base in Kurdistan region;
- Turkish artillery and warplanes bombarded several areas in the north of Duhuk province.
