About 700 Sinjar people were displaced from the town due to recent clashes, according to the Erbil officials;
On May 3, the Iraq Chief of Staff and the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations arrived in Sinjar to inspect the security situation and military units in the district;
On May 2, the Iraqi Army repelled ISIS attacks in the Adhim area.
