- On August 30, the Iraq Joint Operations Command canceled the curfew in Baghdad and other provinces;
- On August 30, Muqtada Sadr, the leader of Iraq’s Sadr Movement apologized to the Iraqi people for what happened and asked his supporters to withdraw from the places they occupied and end the clashes with the security forces;
- As a result of the clashes in Baghdad, 20 people were killed and more than 300 were injured, according to Iraqi TV
