Military Situation In Iraq On August 21, 2022 (Map Update)

On August 21, a U.S. logistical convoy was targeted by IED attack in the Salah al-Din province;
On August 20, Maryam al-Qahtani, the leader of ISIS in Salah al-Din province, along with five other ISIS members were killed as a result of the Iraqi airstrikes in the Hamrin mountains;
On August 20, the newly established Iraqi group “Tashkil al-Warithin” announced the attack by several suicide drones on the US military positions in Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait;
On August 16, four people were injured as a result of IED explosion in Camp Ashraf in Diyala.
