- On May 4, Iranian Naval forces attacked two US destroyers trying to transit in the Strait of Hormuz with two missiles;
- On May 4, a major fire broke out in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone reportedly caused by a drone attack originating from Iran;
- On May 4, six Iranian civilian boats were sunk by the US navy near the Strait of Hormuz;
- On May 7, Iranian naval forces attacked three US destroyers transiting out of the Strait of Hormuz with 8 cruise missiles and 24 suicide drones. According to satellite imagery at least one fire was observed in the southern sector of Strait of Hormuz;
- On May 7, the US army struck several points in the coastal areas of Bandar Khamir, Sirik, and Qeshm Island;
- On May 8, Iranian military reportedly attacked several areas in the UAE. A column of smoke was observed in Dubai airport.
