On December 25, clashes between the TDF and government forces were reported near Abala;
On December 21, the government forces captured Alamata from TDF;
On December 18, pro-government forces captured Weldiyah and surrounding areas from the TDF;
On December 18, pro-government forces captured Lalibela and surrounding areas from the TDF;
On December 22, pro-government forces captured Sekota and surrounding areas from the TDF.
