This map provides a general look at the military situation in eastern Syria on December 7, 2017. The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), Hezbollah and their allies have cleared the western bank of the Euphrates from ISIS. Now, they are preparing to launch an operation in the Homs desert.
Looks Good
Its interesting to look at a satellite image of the desert. There are a few wadi’s that will presumably be infested with ISIS . This is where drone recce will come into its own and helicopter and light vehicle assault groups supported by bombing attacks I suppose.
Cant wait till that Homs – DeZ pocket is coloured red and look very forward to the purge of Idlibistan.
I think that would be an ideal excuse for a party; but I will have an open bar, night long party if Al-Tanf also turns red.
I’ll join in till dawn and after ?
you will have that party soon!
deben quedar pocos terroristas en la zona, la mayoría ya debieron de afeitado las barbas y puesto el uniforme de los perros que sirven a los yanquis al otro lado del rió
Just to get the flavor of various tensions near the Euphrates over the last month, a biased but useful article from the NYT.
