- At least 4 fighters of government forces were killed and 3 others were wounded in a Taliban attack on their outpost 40km west of Feroz Koh city;
- A civilian was killed and 10 others were wounded in an IED explosion in a market in the Sabariyo district of Khost province;
- Local sources say that 9 civilians were killed in an airstrike by government forces in the Balkh district of Balkh province;
- The Taliban released 17 members of government forces in the Marghab district of Badghis province;
- A government fighter with an armoured vehicle surrendered to the Taliban in the Todank area of Farah province.
The western media is claiming gunmen attacked a maternity hospital run by MSF.
US are blaming Taliban, the peace process may be jeapordized.
