- Government forces recaptured the Bilcheragh district of Faryab province from the Taliban, the Defense Ministry said;
- The Taliban attacked pro-government forces’ positions in the Juma Bazar district, Faryab province. According to the Taliban media wing, over 17 fighters were killed or wounded and 2 vehicles were destroyed in the attack;
- The Taliban issued a warning to media outlets that, according to it, are involved in the anti-Taliban propaganda campaign and adviced them to “immediately halt their hostile activities”.
