- The Taliban attacked government forces in the Kakarano China area in the Zabul provincial capital of Qalat. According to the Taliban media wing, Taliban members seized a pickup, an armoued vehicle, and other weapons and equipment;
- The Taliban shelled Shindand Air Base, Herat province killing or injuring at least 7 personnel, including 3 pilots, the group’s media wing said.
