A brief overview of the recent developments:
- 785 Kabul administration workers joined the Taliban administration in May, the group’s media wing said;
- The Taliban stormed two check points in the Surobi district, Kabul province. According to the Taliban media wing, 4 pro-government fighters were killed, 5 others were wounded and 2 more were captured;
- 15 pro-government fighters, including 2 commanders, reportedly defected to the Taliban in the Farsi district, Herat province.
