A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- An Afghan National Army Black Hawk helicopter has reportedly been shot down in Kajaki district of Helmand province. The helicopter made an emergency landing;
- Taliban released 37 government-affiliated prisoners in Kunduz and Takhar provinces;
- At least 6 Taliban members were killed and 8 were wounded in attacks on security checkpoints in Logar province;
- 2 ANA Soldiers Killed in Nahr-e-Siraj district of Helmand by two car bombs.
