- On December 7, ISIS claimed responsibility for a gun attack on a Taliban member in Taloqan. The victim was killed;
- On December 7, forces loyal to Ahmad Massoud attacked a Taliban position in the Hesa Dowum district of Kapisa province. Five Taliban members were reportedly killed in the attack.
