Military Situation In Afghanistan On April 15, 2019 (Map Update)

• At least 5 children were killed in an explosion of an abandoned munition near Mihtarlam city;
• The Taliban attacked a government forces check point in the Gharbi area of the Nad Ali district. 3 pro-government fighters, including a field commander, were killed;
• At least 6 people have been killed and more than 50 wounded in recent clashes between the Taliban and government forces in the Kunduz area.
